Dr. Robert Cope (Cope)
(Salmon) is a practicing veterinarian.  He has been a Lemhi County Commissioner since 2001 and served as President of the Western Interstate Region of the National Association of Counties, as well as Chair of its Environment, Energy and Land Steering Committee.  For the past three years, Cope has been the Western Region Representative on the National Association of Counties Executive Committee.  He served as a member of National Roadless Area Advisory Committee and was the Chair of the Central Idaho Resource Advisory Committee.  Cope is a member of the National Forest Planning Rule Implementation Advisory Committee and has chaired the Eastern Idaho Public Health District Board of Directors.  He is a member of the EPA’s Local Government Advisory Committee and the Idaho Lands Resource Coordinating Council.  Cope is a member of the Western Regional Strategy Committee Member, tasked with developing a national cohesive wildfire strategy.  He is a member of the Advisory Board for Development Workshop and Salmon River Industries.  Cope has chaired the Idaho Wolf Depredation Compensation Committee since 2003 and was on the Governor’s Sage Grouse Advisory Task Force in 2012.
 

Patricia Eriksen

(Soda Springs) is a native of Idaho.  Her work in education in Idaho spans over four decades, during which she was recognized as an outstanding teacher, counselor, secondary school principal and coach. She coordinated the development of an Alternative High School and worked extensively promoting drug-free choices for youth.  Pat is a certified dance instructor, choreographer, actress and vocalist.  Her extensive voluntary public service includes currently chairing the Idaho Territory Sesquicentennial.   

Henry Henscheid

(Blackfoot) is an extremely active member in his community. He began his mediation career nearly 15 years ago and is currently a Certified Professional Mediator and a Certified Professional Mediation Trainer. Over the years, Henry has served as a board member for numerous local, state and national volunteer/non-profit organizations including Student Chapter, National Rehabilitation Association, Blackfoot Community Players, United Cerebral Palsy of Idaho, Easter Seal Society of Idaho, North Dakota Rehabilitation Association, CO-AD, Inc., National Youth for Easter Seals, National Easter Seal Society and Grand Teton Mediation Association. He is the oldest of 9 siblings and was born and raised in Eastern Idaho. Outside of his professional and volunteer endeavors, Henry enjoys travel, music, history and talking with people.

Michael Jensen

(Boise) is the Secretary for Serve Idaho. He is Director of Field Service for the Ore-Idaho Council of Boy Scouts of America with 21 years of volunteer management. Mike is an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor. He directed the Boy Scout National Day Camp School and Instructed in the National Camp School. Mike is a coach for a city recreation program and is active in his church. Prior to joining the Commission, Mike served as a community volunteer grant reviewer for Serve Idaho.

Cindy Jesinger 

(Sun Valley/Ketchum) has chaired the Membership, Governor's Brightest Stars, Conference Review and Marketing Committees for Serve Idaho. Her voluntary public service has included serving as lead chaperon for the Annual U. S. Congressional Award Gold Medal Weeklong Touring Program in Washington, D.C. (National Inspiration Award); volunteer coordinator for Castle Rock Fire; Board of Directors, Special Events Chair, & Coodinator of the Boy Scouts of America Snake River Council report to the Governor (Silver Beaver Award); Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Volunteer (Thanks and Thanks II Badges); Kiwanis Key Club Founding Advisor; and VIP/Red Barn Coordinator for Wagon Days (Chamber Volunteer of the Year). She received the President’s Volunteer Service Lifetime Award for 4000+ hours of service. Jesinger has completed the Incident Command System training sequence to assist Idaho volunteers during disasters.  

William Langer

(Coeur d’Alene) served as a Security Officer in the United States Navy before pursuing a career with the City of Burbank, California, where he planned and designed park complexes, senior citizen center expansions, swimming pool rehabilitations and negotiated park acquisitions for park properties.  He helped develop human service and volunteer service programming.  For two years, Bill served as president of the 900 member employees union.  Prior to joining Serve Idaho, for twelve years Bill worked at North Idaho College in Aging Adult Services as the RSVP Director.  

Pam McGarry 
(New Meadows) is a past chair of Serve Idaho, the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism. Her voluntary public service activities have included The “Fosdick” Annual Scholarship Fundraiser, S.A.V.E.S. (Support All Volunteer Emergency Services), Heartland Recycling Organization, the Youth Mars Rover Program and 4-H chapter co-leader. She is one of two commissioners who have completed Incident Command System training to assist with volunteer services during Idaho disasters. McGarry operates a small business in New Meadows with her husband.

Lynn Muehlfeit
(Idaho Falls) is a volunteer mediator for the seventh judicial district for small claims and parent/teen issues. He also volunteers one morning a week during the winter at a local food bank. Muehfeit is a retired Communications Workers of America member of local 7621 and served as local union president for 27+ years and as vice-president of the Eastern Idaho Central Labor Council.  Muehfeit was a member of the Idaho State AFL-CIO and president of the Idaho State CWA Council. He served in the Army National Guard for six years.  

Tina Naillon
(Boise) is a native Idahoan and the State Department of Education’s coordinator for Idaho Reads!, Homeless, and Rural Education programs. She has worked in education and federal programs for over 15 years providing information and resources to help educators, parents and other stakeholders improve learning opportunities to meet the needs of youth at risk throughout Idaho. 
 

Tabatha Renz 

(Boise) is the Chair for Serve Idaho. Originally from Dillon, Montana, Renz graduated with Distinguished Honors from Boise State University with a B.S. in Health Science Studies in 2011. She spent the summer following graduation as an intern at Clinton Global Initiative, part of the William J. Clinton Foundation, in New York City. Renz is currently serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Area Agency on Aging Serving Southwest Idaho where she coordinates the new Volunteer Ombudsman program. She is also an active leader within the 391^st Engineer Company Family Readiness Group, based at Gowen Field. In fall 2013, Renz will begin her Masters degree in Public Administration and Policy at New York University as preparation for a career in engaging and serving veterans and military families. 
 

Susan Steele  

(Moscow) joined the University of Idaho Athletic Department in the summer of 2012 as an Academic Coordinator after two years as an instructor and graduate research assistant at the University of Idaho Center for ETHICS (Ethical Theory and Honor In Competition and Sport). Steele earned her master’s degree in Recreation Administration from Idaho in 2005 and her Ph.D. in Education from Idaho in 2012. Her Ph.D. dissertation and research emphasis is focused on the community-university relationship, specifically with student-athletes.  Steele hopes to continue to support volunteerism and the ethic of service statewide as a Serve-Idaho Commissioner.

Kristen Tracy  

(Boise) is the Vice Chair for Serve Idaho.  Kristen’s professional background is in the field of Gerontology and she is currently the Director of the Foster Grandparent Program and RSVP in Southwestern Idaho.  Kristen also serves as the Vice President of the National Association of Foster Grandparent Program Directors and Secretary for the Idaho National Senior Corps Association.  Kristen has a passion for anti-poverty programming and is committed to volunteerism.

Hunter Van Bramer 
(Moscow) serves as the Youth Delegate on the Serve Idaho Commission.  He is a student at University of Idaho majoring in Architecture/Interior Design.  An Eagle Scout, Hunter was the founding treasurer of his Kiwanis Key Club.  Hunter is the recipient of several scholarships for his outstanding voluntary public service which included work with a variety of organizations combating hunger, Camp Rainbow Gold, veterans’ events, and an assortment of community cultural activities.  Hunter serves on Serve Idaho’s Membership Committee and Governor’s Brightest Stars Committee.
